The Winery and Farm Antonelli San Marco is one of the most ancient in Montefalco, it's an estate which extends over an entire 170 hectares located centrally within Montefalco's DOCG winemaking area. With a background rich in history, the Antonelli family is passionately committed to caring for their territory and attentive to the quality of their products.The estate has been in the Antonelli family since 1881 when Francesco Antonelli, a lawyer, bought and transformed the property.
Stefano Antonelli, also a lawyer, and Marianna Antonelli maintained it with loving care.
Giacomo Antonelli, yet another lawyer, and Antonio Antonelli, an engineer, enlarged the property and invested in viticulture.The family Antonelli grows local grape variteies as Grechetto, Trebbiano, Sagrantino and they also grow olives and produce an excellent virgin oil.Your experience will start in the wood with the truffle hunter and a well trained dog. Truffle hunter will explaine you all secrets about the truffle magic world and you will walk in the wood for more than hour.After the truffle experience you will enjoy a winery tour followed by a delicious light lunch with truffle and olive oil bruschette, local cold cuts paired with Montefalco Rosso, Montefalco Sagrantino e Montefalco Sagrantino Passito
