The Experience

Take the first step into an incredible underwater world with our Discover Scuba Diving experience in Manchester. This session is perfect for anyone curious about diving, offering a safe and comfortable introduction to the sport.

This experience is ideal for beginners who want to try scuba diving before committing to a full course or those simply looking for a new adventure. No previous experience is required, and participants must be aged 10 or older.

What Is Involved?

• Tuition and eLearning: Begin with online eLearning or an in-person briefing by our experienced PADI professionals.
• Equipment Fitting: Get fitted with all the necessary gear, including a wetsuit - just bring your swimsuit and a towel.
• Pool Session: Dive into the safety of a heated pool, where you'll learn to use the equipment and take your first breaths underwater under the guidance of your instructor.
• Certification: At the end of the session, you’ll receive a certificate recognising your completion of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience.

Vital Information 

You need to be in reasonable health and answer some medical questions. 

The Weather

Your first scuba lesson will be on an indoor building, the weather is not relevant. 

Session Length

Approximately 90 minutes. 

Numbers

This voucher entitles two people to enjoy your scuba diving lesson. 

Spectators

Spectators are not permitted on this experience. 

What To Wear

All you need is your swimmers, t-shirt and towel and prepare yourself for an adventure! 

Availability

Dive sessions run most Monday evenings and pre-booking is required. Meet at the dive centre at 18:45 for equipment fitting, and then head to the pool, which is a 15-minute drive away. Dive time is from 20:00 to 21:30, providing ample time to get comfortable underwater.
