Experience an exciting and unforgettable weekend adventure in Austria with this exclusive Rafting and Canyoning Weekend Package.
Enjoy two nights of accommodation with breakfast and dinner included at a cozy mountain hut or pasture. Depending on availability, you can stay at the Zams ski hut near Landeck, the Balbachalm above Oetz/Ochsengarten or the Stalderhütte near Jerzens in the Pitztal.
These huts are accessible by car via forest roads, with the Zams ski hut and Balbachalm also reachable by gondola.
Begin your adventure with a rafting tour on the Inn, navigating either the Imst Gorge or Tösener Gorge in a large raft accommodating 7-11 people.
Rafting sessions are available at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please arrive 30-45 minutes early for equipment fitting and briefing, with breakfast provided at 7:00 a.m. for early sessions.
Your package also includes a guided canyoning tour for beginners, perfect for experiencing the natural beauty and excitement of the Austrian Alps.
Canyoning tours are available at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with breakfast served at 7:30 a.m. for early starts. Protective equipment, including a helmet, special climbing harness with carabiner, neoprene suit and canyoning overjacket, is provided in all relevant sizes.
Transfers to the tour sites are provided from the raft station at Ötztal train station using minibuses. The package is available on all weekdays if the minimum group size of six participants is met.
Accompanying persons can also book accommodation, with options for breakfast and half board.
Half board costs EUR 90.00 for dormitory rooms and EUR 110.00 for comfort rooms, with an additional surcharge of EUR 20.00 per person for a 4-bed room.
Higher quality accommodations, including 3-5 star hotels and guesthouses in double/single rooms, are available upon request.
You have to be in good physical condition and be able to swim. Due to bad weather conditions the experience may be cancelled. All transfers from the hotel to the starting points and return are included.
This experience operates in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather conditions or flooding.
This experience will last 2 ½ days including 4 hour Rafting tour and 3 hour canyoning trip.
You will enjoy this weekend with other people.
Spectators are welcome.
You should wear comfortable clothes. Bring swimwear, a towel, a pair of old trainers and a change of clothes. You will get wet. Buoyancy aid and helmet will be supplied. If you wear glasses, remove them or firmly secure them. For the canyoning tour you should wear ankle-high sport or trekking shoes which can be wet.
This experience is available from April till October.
