Introductory Glider Flight in Portugal

The Experience
The glider is an ultralight aircraft without an engine, with high levels of aerodynamic performance that allow it to fly like birds of prey, gliding in stunning silence and capable of performing very fun maneuvers.

The glider flight initiation begins with a brief briefing on the experience, aerodynamics and gliding. After the briefing, it is time to settle comfortably into the glider with a certified and experienced instructor. The glider begins the flight attached to a small aircraft until it reaches the required altitude, then the towing cable is released and the glider flies autonomously, taking advantage of the rising hot air and aerodynamic principles to stay in the air.

The flight lasts around 25 minutes and, if the weather conditions are favourable, you may be given a bonus of a few more minutes of flight.

Relax and enjoy the fantastic landscapes of Montemor, flying alongside the birds of this region, in a tranquil silence and in complete harmony with nature.

This experience is dependent on weather conditions. If they are not favorable, you will be contacted at least 24 hours in advance to request another convenient day.

Duration
10-minute briefing + 25-minute flight.

Participants
Your voucher is valid for 1 person.

Restrictions
Maximum weight of 100 kg
Children must be at least 6 years old and 1.10m tall, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult or with a signed liability waiver.
You must be in good shape and fully mobile to climb into the glider.
Pregnant women should not fly.

Not recommended for people with heart or respiratory problems. If you have any questions, you should first consult your family doctor.

What to Wear
Clothing appropriate for outdoor activities and weather conditions. Sunglasses.
