The historic Somerset, Roman city of Bath is the perfect location for a fantastic day out. Highlights of this beautiful city include the historic Roman Baths and Pump Room, quaint antiques shops, insightful museums, and chic boutiques. How better to visit such an amazing city but in the luxury of a vintage train.
The British Pullman will welcome you aboard to a Champagne reception, you will be shown to your comfortable armchair seats by your British Pullman steward. You will notice your magnificently laid table with sparkling glassware, fine china and the glistening cutlery. The journey will take a leisurely journey down to the west country and as you gaze through your window you will be enchanted with the British countryside views that pass by. A fine dining brunch will be served on your outbound journey, before you arrive in Bath at about mid-day.
You will spend the afternoon in Bath and enjoy a guided coach tour of the city along with admission to the ancient Roman Baths. You will have some time to spend at your leisure for shopping and sightseeing.
You will board the British Pullman late afternoon and set off back to London, Victoria, you will again be warmly welcomed back onto the luxury train with a Champagne reception before heading back to your carriage to enjoy a delicious four-course, fine dining dinner accompanied by a specially selected bottle of wine.
